Clinical Examination
Talley & O'Connor - Clinical examination | Macleod's - Clinical Examination
| | This is another one of those 'classic' medical student textbooks. It is probably a touch too detailed, but has excellent explanations for most topics. Perfect to read as an introductory text prior to starting a particular clinical firm, and then perfect to read again to re-learn those finer aspects of clinical examination. | | There are always 'geographical' differences in which textbooks are popular at individual medical schools; some favour certain texts, and these just happen to stick as 'the book everyone uses'. With clinical examination, however, there's really only a choice of two. And if you're not in a 'Talley & O'Connor' zone, then this is the book for you. More colourful and probably easier to read, this is an equally excellent book. |
