Planning your elective early is the key to getting the most out of the various funding organisations. As funds are limited, a simple yet well-planned project can help your elective stand out from the rest, encouraging interest from those that offer cash in return for what is often not more than an elective report upon your return. Bear in mind that funding sources change regularly, and so some of the grants below may no longer be valid.
